INFORMATION ABOUT COURT RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Beginning June 1, 2020, all judicial facilities in the 27th Judicial District (Washington County) are generally open to the public, subject certain conditions and limitations. Individuals entering a judicial facility will be required to undergo screening, wearing a mask or face covering, and comply with social distancing guidelines. Members of the public are still encouraged to conduct their business at a judicial facility remotely, if possible.
A Declaration of Judicial Emergency is still in effect locally, which may affect the applicability of certain statewide and local procedures. A copy of President Judge John F. DiSalle's Emergency Administrative Order, dated May 28, 2021, can be found here. A list of all Administrative Orders issued due to the COVID-19 pandemic are here.
If you have questions about a case, please direct them first to your attorney. If you do not have an attorney, please contact the court or office that you are to appear before. All other inquiries should be directed to the Court Information Desk at (724) 228-6999.
